lol. back from an INSANE week.
Monday: No BB. and Mr Gan tao-ed us for CQ cause there weren't enough people.
Tuesday: No third lang. and I slacked.
Wednesday; Parade that we shouldn't have had. BUT I GOT MY CHEVRONS.
Thursday: No third lang. so prepping for FRIDAY.
Friday was super fun :DDD rock on GEPers! The Teachers' Day concert was emceed by Bi Quan and Isaac Chay and the teachers were like "superheroes". lol the thingum was filled with insane challenges like the quiz. On one side: HOD "Superheroes" team. On the othe side: The Raffles Academy All-Star "Zeroes"(ironically) team comprising: Tang Hui Yao|Ashish XIANGYI Kumar(eat that, Ashish!)|Barry Tng|Some guy i can't remember|an Indian guy whose name is Prandeep or something|and last but not least, CHAIRMAN FONG. he was like their secret weapon. then Ashish was like "It's time to unveil our secret weapon. WITH FONG, YOU CAN'T GO WRONG." lol i think it was rigged in favour of the teachers. Definitely. No question. anyway, the uncle in the General Office retired on Friday as well. He sang two songs and received a standing ovation. Well, I think he definitely deserved it for his long service, as well as to spend time with his family.
After that, I 59-ed to SHPS with Isaac(who ran home halfway in SHPS cause he didn't want to see her face), Ashwin (who was hobo-ing with Jeff) and Adam(who went for prayers with Hykael after the thing). When we arrived there, we found a whole bucnh of people. we chatted then we showed the teachers the batch vid. quite nice. DAMN YOU NOSTALGIA. *angsts off* Lol i probably should have shown Mr Ang the vid. I should have just gone "screw off jm" and shown him the vid. NOOOO. nevermind. It's still up for grabs if you want it. MSN me for details. The whole bucnh of them that were left went off to TM but I ponned cause i had to go pack my bags for Fun Camp.
Fun Camp was fun. I was like the only non-SHSS person there. GGXXF2L. We(the senior boys) started off by helping Mr Lau do the games. And Mr Bey was being supermean. Cause there was this game where they were supposed to crawl behind the line of hula hoops and the seniors(plus Bey)were lobbing balls at them. one of the funniest parts was when this poor guy was all alone and he got overkilled. After dinner was Star Wars, in which no one won and almost everyone ganged squads 7 and 2. after that was bathing time. Domenic and I were TRYING to find a toilet to bathe, but all we found were kids streaking in the toilets and showing off their (puny) crown jewels. so we just settled for a patdown with a wet towel. Then the juniors invaded our bunk(MPR) for a midnight movie. after the movie, clarence and the seniors sleeping over were playing cards while I was trying to sleep. I had to go inside my sleeping bag and listen to bagpipes. and clarence(no, not the pokeporn guy) had to call for the lights to be turned off.
Saturday started off with 5BX. we did our own exercises. lol. first up: Captain's ball. the seniors played the juniors for bonus points after the thing was settled, with the little guys getting help from Bey. they drew 3-3. after that was quiet time before breakfast. then they played some teambuilding games before going for lunch and the civic district hike. the hike was quite fun. when we were going to Fort Canning, we stopped by the Philatelic Museum casue some of the squad members
wanted needed to use the toilet. And I met Kendrick, who was playing his DS and looking thoroughly bored. On the way back to SHPS, it rained super heavily. My poor jacket got drenched. when i got back to my bunk, I saw BEy playing soccer with a volleyball in the bunk. He was trying to shoot in between the chair legs. Domenic and Daniel Neo were also playing. There was some weird bet going on. If Mr Bey scored, they would have to do ten push-ups. If he missed, he would have to do ten push-ups and vice versa. after I bathed, I went back to the bunk and then one boy from my assigned squad popped up and said that his squad leader had thrown an apple into the fan in their bunk, so we christened it "Applezone". I saw them doing push-ups later, courtesy of Mr Bey, the extreme sadist. After dinner was the so-called "Battle of H2O", basically just a glorified version of water gun fighting. it WAS extreme fun. I actually joined my squad, but I died and had to go to the place where dead people gather, or as I christened it, "Happy happy land", after the Orientation camp thingy. after that when i got my new tag, i soon got bored and ripped it off, instead going freelancing with Domenic, camping among the bushes, hunting Bey and his gang. Freelance team Alpha managed to hit Bey's ass, crotch and chest before getting sprayed by his waterbottle. I got a full blast on my left sleeve. Some poor junior got one right in the face. lol then Bey told us to go fill a half-pail of water, which was later dumped on Daniel Neo. we bathed while the juniors were having their debrief and supper. then when they bathed, we were slacking inside our bunks and checking for more streakers. We ENSURED that they slept by 11:15 by threatening to let them have a taste of night aparde if they didn't comply. We also gave some of the cheekier ones push-ups. Tan's brother owes me 20. when they were sleeping, the reamining seniors went for prata with Mr Leong and Mr Chan at the 24-hour prata shop.
This morning, I woke up at like 7:30 and missed the 5BX. but I managed to catch the benchball games. after that was breakfast, then we went for service at CCR. After the service we all did area cleaning and packing. then I went home. and now imma gon play halo.
Fun camp was fun, cause I got "speshul" privileges, like filling my water gun at the water cooler and using the lighter to turn my candle into a flamethrower during Star Wars. I daresay I had more fun than you. OWNJACKED. lol don't mean to be mean. HALO TIME. Wait for my next post, people, for I will bring news of CQ, and we all know who's going to win, DON'T WE? (Hint: 60th Singapore Company)
