It's monday the 27th now. and I finished watching the Pool-Chelski match about an hour or so ago. Xabi scored and Cech was left unsighted as Liverpool won 1-0 despite Chelsea having more possesion and more shots on goal.
As early as the 3rd minute, Chelsea had a great chance when Xabi Alonso slipped and left Anelka open to pass to Deco. However, Carragher made a fantastic last-ditch tackle to deflect Deco's shot away. In the 10th minute, Xabi shot with his left foot, Cech being left unsighted as the ball crossed the line. Chelsea made shot after shot but failed to secure the draw. A great game as Liverpool ended Chelsea's 86-game unbeaten streak at Stamford Bridge and moved 3 points clear at the top of the table.
